2-1-1 In the face of disasters
by Anthony Jackson
Life is a tapestry made from an unstoppable blend of unique experiences
It is these unique experiences that place us in our current positions
in life
It is these unique experiences that determine our lows and our highs
Eyes open wide like a sky swallowing clouds may never see the world through
others lenses,
But sight is not a requirement to see internal needs for service within
this
It is human destiny to have mishaps and set backs
It is our fate we attempt to master to prevent eventual disasters
Disasters are as small as an ant hill for some while for others this
mountain is huge
And disasters are not racist and keep a multicultural view
Disasters do not care how old you are or how young you are
Disasters do not care about your source of income, your home, or your
car
Disasters simply do not care about your history or your religious faith
Disasters affect all of us. Disasters do not discriminate
And isn’t it comforting to know that someone cares about what you’re
going through
…someone is willing to work with you to reduce the pressure without
judging you
…Someone confident with an empathetic ear and a confidential style
…Someone to help you help yourself with a voice filled with smiles
AND because
An interaction between struggle and success is often what life is

For information and referrals for yourself, a relative, friend, or client,
211 is your friendly reminder
That you are but three digits away from making life a little bit kinder
